West Chester, PA is the bane of my existence

I know there are plenty of shipping threads already, but I just needed somewhere to voice my impatience with West Chester, PA. According to FedEx, my Inc. has been sitting there since 6:00am today (4/26), and it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow (according to FedEx estimated delivery).

I know the release isn't for 3 days, but when you see the estimated delivery date as the 27th, well...it's kinda hard not to get excited.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Yes mine as also been in West Chester since 6am this morning marked as Picked Up, but my estimated delivery date is the 28th. Ive just been hoping that the shipping updates are behind. Let me know if you get it tomorrow or not.

I was thinking the same thing earlier; I just checked my tracking and now my package is back in Newark, NJ.

Yeah mine was there since 6am also and just before 11 p.m. it finally left. I have a delivery of the 28th and i'm guessing thats probably when i'll get it since my nearest hub that i get deliveries from is in williamsport(1.5 hours away) I'm gonna say its definitely not gonna get here tomorrow for me

I'm in the same boat. It's been there since 6AM per their system. Mine says delivery on the 28th here in Phoenix. That will suck if Verizon is having FedEx sit on them to delay until the 29th. I took the 29th off and now added the 28th. I guess I'll spend an extra day playing with the inc if it does arrive on Wed.

I ordered on the 21st.. I see plenty of others who ordered after have gotten theirs in transit. VZW hasn't tried to hit up my bank yet so.. twiddly dee twiddly dumb.. im freakin out man!

Some of us in L.A. are in a similar spot.

My phone was picked up in Ontario, CA. this morning and made its way to the "sorting facility" in Los Angeles at 10 am. Now, that sorting facility is within 10 miles of my home.

I'm scheduled for a delivery on the 28th but I really hope it makes its way out today (the 27th) since it's just sitting there.

I suppose it's a matter of Fedex having enough room on their trucks that go out for the regular rounds.

We shall see soon.

Alright, well mine somehow made it to the Chicago sorting facility at 3:37a. I guess not everyone is going through TN after all. Here's the trip it's taken so far:

I know it's still early here, which is why it probably doesn't have "out for delivery" yet (hey, I'm still kinda wishful to get it today). Any way, for others in the same situation - are any of you going to contact FedEx if it doesn't go out for delivery today to see if you can pick it up? (I know that if FedEx is holding per Verizon, this won't work but it's worth a shot...maybe the same people who worked for the Verizon 3rd party CSR line taking Inc. pre-orders have relatives at FedEx)

Hopefully today is the day!

Mine's just hanging out in dirty Joizey. Honestly, as long as I get it on or before Thursday, I don't care. What's irritating the $hit out of me is the lack of accessories at my local corp. stores!! I hate the red silicone case I ordered online and would prefer to find something else before I receive my phone.

Yep, same thing. Picked up in West Chester (20 mins from my house) yesterday morning the 26th with an EDD of the 28th. It is now in the "dest sort facility" in Linwood, Pa. Umm, that's where I live. It will now most likely get sent to Philadelphia, then back to West Chester to be put on a truck to be delivered to Linwood.

The interesting thing to note here is that I had the free overnight shipping. FedEx says it is "FedEx 2Day Service - Indirect". I believe indirect means, delay it as long as possible by taking a tour of the greater Philadelphia area, including several trips through my town. Had I actually paid for overnight shipping, then I would have to be on the phone with our dear friends at Verizon.

It appears all the phones were shipped 2Day regardless of what you selected. In fact, I called Internet Sales CS to complain, as I *paid* for Next Day shipping. Supposedly, I will be credited back the $8.99 once the package arrives.

Yeah, I thought the same thing about indirect. Then I looked again and saw underneath it "Signature Required ?" So I put my mouse over the "?" and it's actually "Indirect Signature Required" which means that you, yourself, does not have to sign for it. It could be a neighbor, co-worker, or anyone else in the house.

Mine looks exactly like that. Doesn't make much sense, but the delivery date is still scheduled for tomorrow.

I won't get it till Thursday either way, I'm up in Vermont and my phone is headed to Massachusetts. The ironic part is the hotel I am in is a stone's throw from a Corporate VZW store that I could just saunter into on Thursday morning and get the phone.

Oh well, it's better that I don't get it till after working hours anyway.

I'm in West Chester too... And I guess I don't feel quite so bad since my DI is sitting in the Philly dest sort facility as of 7am. I think the west chester shipments fromverizon get screwed up cause I suspect they get shipped from west Chester. Fedex doesn't see that they are local to us so they go on a more circuitous route.

A couple of months ago a new phone for my wife took the same route... And still was delivered on time.
