Hi,

For the past 3 days or so, my phone has been vibrating randomly in a sequence of 3 times in a row. No app or notification is open. I have no idea what is wrong. Scanned with avast available. No problems. Does anyone have any ideas why this occurs?

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but it solved mine which was similar.

1. Settings.
2. Accessibility
3. Turn off Notification Reminder
4. Deselect Turn Off All sounds
Try those settings. Mine was indicating that I had received a notification and it drove me nuts until I did those things above. I still get regular notifications and vibrations from other settings outside of Accessibility.

TBH It may be a problem with Kit Kat as its the worst Update yet in my Opinion. Try the above to see if that works but mine does the same sometimes and there is no fixing it for me

Since its been happening within the past 3 days do you recall what you may have done different to your phone; install app/s?

I get this sometimes and its not an app etc either.

I'd imagine it's just a quirky glitch from KitKat update.

Good to know I'm not alone in this.

All off.

Do you have NFC and or S Beam on?
If so turn them off and see if that helps.

All off too.

Did not install anything new. Apps may have updated by themselves, but nothing new. Turn off the probable app causing the vibrations, still there. Random, but it is still there.

I'm getting used to this by now I guess.
