New to the android had a blackberry for a while now i see how much it sucked anyway is there a way to change how to unlock the screen other then pressing to power button it's anoying? also can i delete apps or programs that came on the phone (ex.. the stock app & the friend stream)? thanks for the help.

welcome
power button is the only way to wake phone, then you can either slide the bar down to unlock or you can hit the "menu" button to unlock it after screen wakes up. Cannot delete pre-installed apps (yet)
