I am thinking of going to the incredible

I've heard lots of talk of switching. A friend has the Incredible and likes it, but I think anyone considering a switch should google "HTC Android" and seek out comments from people with an HTC device. From what I've seen, there's been more than one company's fair share of grumbles about the lack of effort to upgrade hardware to the newest Android versions. I'm interested to see which device (Droid or Incredible) gets the Froyo upgrade first. The Incredible likely will make better use given its specs, but that's not a big deal if it has to wait 8 months longer to get the rollout. I'm just sayin'...

i would necessarily call it a lack of effort but the fact that HTC uses sense ui makes it take a lot longer for updates. The eris is just now getting its 2.1 update and as far as I know its the first Sense ui device to get updated to 2.1. There are several phones that come with 2.1 stock but I am talking updates.

If you do plan on selling it on eBay, always always always start the bid at $0.99. You will get early interest from many people as opposed to starting it high. Trust me, this is coming from a long time eBay seller. Also, once you have added on the seller account (if you have not done so already) you can access completed listings for free. Type in 'Droid' into the search box then click advanced search. A couple options down will be a check box with 'Completed Listings'. Check it and search. You will then see all the already sold matches for 'Droid' and you can get a good judgement on how much you will get for it. Hope this was helpful.
