Help I HATE my cliq...please help.

So I got my cliq three months ago, and I loved it. I originally had the data plan, but canceled it a week after getting it. I just didnt use it enough. The phone worked well and all of the sudden.....crap. It freezes constantly, takes for ever to load txts, apps and when i click a name to call it takes upwards of 45 seconds to switch the the call screen. I dont get it. I have 1,689mb free on my sd card and 178 mb free on the phone. So I have storage left. I have a few small Apps, and 4 songs on it. Im also running software 1.4.8 wich i believe is the newest software. Can someone PLEASE help me, before I throw this brick out?

did you try doing a hard reset?

If that doesnt help, it may be a faulty processor or something like that... Try resetting it if not, take it back to the TMO, you are still under warranty.

I didnt get any kinf of warranty with the phone. Does a hard reset delete everything on my phone? all numbers and such.

Pretty much deletes everything... Just pass all your numbers to your SIM...

By the way, if the phone is 3 months old, you are under warranty.. Standard warranty is 1 year...

Ok thanks. Im going to figure out how to save all my contacts to the SD now, and reboot this thing. If that doesnt work, im going to TMO monday.

Not to the SD, but to your SIM card. It should be a white card, similar in appearance to a standard size SD, but thinner, and has the T logo & a bunch of orange numbers on it.

How? Use the app called "manage SIM card." It is already on your phone as part of a recent update. The whole purpose of the app is to back up most of your phone contacts (but not your myspace, facebook, etc. That's MotoBlur). Oh, and Google can back up your contacts, too!

Im going to do a hard reset now. If it doesnt solve it, im off to Tmobile to get this resolved. Man this is annoying.
