Hey All,

I currently do not work for a huge corporation of any kind so i'm not eligible for any of those EVP 20+% discount that everyone is referring to. But i did hear that it's possibe to register your own business or organization with EVP in order to get discount. How hard is it to register your own company? what do they look for? Do you need to have a minimum # of employees working for you to be eligible? How do they determine how much % your company can get?

Also are there family plans on evp? can anyone post the specs?

I'm currently thinking of going this route and jumping out of the stupid SERO/EPRP contracts.

I don't know about the family plan aspect, but I was successful in setting up my small company (less than 10 employees) and getting a 20% discount. It was painless and relatively quick. Why not have your HR person or some other corporate officer shoot them an email? I don't know how they determine a percentage, but anything is better than nothing, right? :)

I have my own freelance graphic & web design business, being that I'm not LLC. or Inc. I doubt they would see this as a legitimate business?

Otherwise any tom, dick or sally could say, "Ooo, pick me I have a business too!"

i dunno

so do they ask for your Tax ID? or something like that? they don't check who you employ right?

I don't know how to do, but there was someone posting they had a company of like 10 people and he got a 20% discount which is on the higher side. I do not know how they determine this, but I doesn't not hurt to call and ask how it works.

what i'm wondering is how do they check if the person is employed in your office or not. i know that you need to have an email address that is linked toward a domain like blank@yourwebsite.com or something. but that seems to easy. i heard someone else say they registered and their company only has 3 people and they got 20%

Ok so I get a 25% discount with my company and have had it for several years. I called Sprint directly to set this up. They did ask for a contact number for a HR dept. to see if I was an employee there. Recently I found out about EVP (why I get my discount). So I went to the site registered my e-mail address and I was done. That's pretty much all I know about it.

It is only on the plan and additional lines. I will copy and paste since I am to lazy to take a screen shot and photoshop it.

Shared Plan
Everything Data - 1500 Shared Anytime Minutes Included $129.99 Employee Discount Sprint 25% -$32.50

This is my third line since there is no charge for my second line.

Everything Data - 1500 Shared Anytime Minutes Included $19.99 Employee Discount Sprint 25% -$5.00

I never said it was new! Not everyone knows a sprint employee, so now is there chance to get in on it!
Russ S. McGuire has released his public records of his email and code to everyone on the internet world for yrs. this seriously isn't new. this guy on xda just posted his own email and code for people to sign up under his referral. and what does this have anything to do with my thread topic?
