Root A guide to HTC hero 2.1 ?

Hey,

I figured out how to Root my phone and all. But now the problem : i downloaded Hero 2.1 on my phone, installed it with the turnon+home setting. But now i turn on my phone and it just stays on the screen with HERO (sense hero now). It's been there for like 15 minutes now and i already tried to remove the battery etc, didnt work.

I had the same problem with SenseHero2.1, all I did was went back into my boot screen (turn off, hold home & on keys) wiped all parts in order of the list, did a NANDrestore.
This put my HTC Hero back to it's original state before the new ROM was installed. Then I rebooted, switched off again, wiped all in order, flashed the new ROM, rebooted.........

The first boot can take upto 15 min anyway but just leave it, do something constructive while you wait as it's a long time to be stairing at a SenseHero load screen!!!
