has anyone tried this rom? i finally got my phone rooted and can load custom roms now.

they put up with a lot of broken English.I think it was more trouble trying to figure out what i was trying to say then root their phones.

I didnt really care for this ROM. I thought it was a bit incomplete next to Fresh and Damageless ROM's. I'm sure it has improved some in the last month. That is really the cool thing about being rooted, you can try anything as long as you have a nandroid backup.

I decided to try this one out myself this morning. I like it a lot. It seems like the most well put together of the "Sense" ROMs I have seen lately. It's fast and apps2sd worked right off the bat as it should. If you like the "Sense" UI ROMs this is one I would try. I was going to flash his non-"Sense" ROM, PureHero 1.0, today also but I have been having fun trying to customize and break this one. Might just back it up here later and then test PureHero out.

Let's be realistic here though...

when it comes to his ROM's ...I don't care for them..why? because all he does is give them a colorful look...everything else it is someone else hard work...

The day he can put out a ROM without someone elses ideas..that's the day I'd say "hey this guy deserves 5 bucks from me" ...

that's my issue with all these non-devs ...they want to eat off other peoples work ...

I think you are being a little harsh there. I mean most of the work from the devs is really just taking parts from the leak or parts from other phones and then finding ways to make them work. I mean you don't believe that Flipz wrote the nexus one launcher right? A lot of this is just sitting down with an idea of what you want and being determined to get from where you are to where you want to be.

Sure there is some coding going on and it does take some knowledge and time but none of us knows how much of either is being used on any of the ROMs. As for the idea that making it look pretty with new icons and colors isn't developing, well he is developing the custom ROM he wants and he is gracious enough to put his work out there for others to enjoy or criticize as they see fit. It really wouldn't make the theme any less appealing if we called him a themer instead of a dev would it? So to me that argument is really trivial, especially given the fact that he acknowledges those people whom he has borrowed from.

As for this theme, it is pretty nice. Battery life is crazy good so far.

lol.....it's all good. Freshlyd has a mancrush on me and what I do It's a "thing" we have. I put something together.....someone starts a thread and says "try this out". He then chimes in, and says he is not a fan....lol.

It's our thing....he means no disrepect. He's just patting me on my bum and winking

Wow, that's a bit of a dick thing to say. I don't think that most people even know half of the shit you need to know to even compile all that different shit into one ROM. What about those that only want certain things from certain ROMs, instead of having to install a complete ROM that has things that people don't want/use. I think that he did a great job in compiling some of the best things from the various ROMs.

I haved tried so many ROMs over the past 3 months. My personal faves are from Koni, because either we think alot alike or have the same color taste. I love the stuff from Fresh too. My first ROM was Fresh1.5D/SetCPU/Gumbo kernel. I am not basing my opinion on speed benchmarks. As long as all things are working, I will go for customization. My still personal #1 ROM is Aloysius 2..0.5 wLWP. (Still have a nandroid of it)

All DEVs rock! Without you guys, I would just be ignoring my wife by just surfing without a real purpose every night.
