It's a smartphone, what do you expect?
It's a smartphone, get used to it!
Now that's just not nice. It may be the truth, harsh as it may be, but that's no reason to be impolite. He obviously
expects better. Remember, this is for minimal use -- if you require a tad more than minimal use, we're talking
half a day, which might well be less than a mobile worker's day trip.
Furthermore, I emphatically do not agree that this kind of battery life is reasonable. I've had pda's and phones that lasted over a week on a charge, and I can't fathom why they call this new breed of smartphones 'progress'. These things are dumber, slower, and worse, and yet people seem to be content now that the devices can do colour, and Facebook.
I don't see why people have a problem with plugging it in overnight
He didn't say he doesn't. But one might wish to go on a weekend trip, or just a full day of sailing or going somewhere with neither 5V nor 220/110V? And you know, people might get "caught in the rain" and have forgotten their charger or usb-cable for a day...
@damodamo123:
- I've uninstalled my battery monitors. They may provide me with a forecast, but they all gobble up too much juice in order to provide it.
- Also, another thing that can really burn through your battery is poor reception -- my Galaxy gets just one or two 'bars' for the majority of the day, and this means it needs to turn the radio power
way up.
