Hi, I'm getting restarts/reboots on my Spica running on Android 2.1 almost everyday, and sometimes the reboot happens more than once a day. I also noticed my battery getting extremely hot (with an unusual burned smell). Anyone else experiencing this problem and does anybody know how to fix it? TIA

This all sounds extremely bad, pointing to a hardware fault, rather than related to 2.1. If you flashed your own phone to 2.1, I'd suggest repeating the process, but use a different firmware source.

PM me for a fully working safe, stable and reliable JD4.

Failing that tell your provider and get it replaced under warranty, before it fails completely.

Thanks Beerkan, it was upgraded by Samsung Service Centre, it was working fine for almost a month before it started acting up. I'll bring it to Samsung Service Centre when I get back from vacation.
