I just got myself a nice incredible about a week ago, and left behind a blackberry (and AT&T). First let me say that this phone is awesome, and has managed to totally demolish my ability to get work done on a regular basis.

One feature that the blackberry (bold) had that was very useful, is you could navigate through music you were listening to via the volume controls. If you held down the up volume, it would go to the next track, and down volume would either restart the current track, or go to a previous track. The mute key at top would start/stop the music.

Is there anyway to do something like this with the DI, so I don't need to take the phone out of the holster to change/start/stop the music?

I have that as a fallback option, but I was trying to avoid buying new headphones... I lose headphones way more than I should, and I can easily pick up $15 earbuds with a standard jack with pretty decent sound quality. I've tried a few different media players to see if I could find one with a fast forward / rewind functionality, but the closest I've got is mixzing, which will pause if you turn down the volume all the way :)

I ride a motorcycle and this feature is what I loved about my storm. Shame my incredible can't do this. Only being able to change the volume while riding kind of sucks.
