Accessories Droid Car Mount Now avaiable

By looking at the images on here HTC Incredible Car Window Mount & Phone Holder Combo, it clearly shows a Verizon logo on the back of the holder. This must be a Verizon one. Maybe they have access to these like they have to other Incredible original accessories that I didn't find at VZ stores.

I stopped by the local Verizon corporate store here in Chicago the other day to play with the Incredible and they had these car mounts in stock, prominently displayed right next to the Incredible. If I'm not mistaken the price was 29.9x but I did not pay much attention since I only ordered the Incredible itself on June 3rd, so I've got a long wait in front ofme.

My BB Tour is really acting up, though, I get dropped calls left and right, so I have to go back to the store today anyway - I'll report back if they still have them, and if so, how are they branded etc.

not sure this may be a off brand, but it would do the job it seems. As for Verizon i have not heard of them having any car mounts for the incredible. I also searched the Verizon site and could not find anything, if its not on the website it more than likely wont be in the store.
It's been available in-store since launch for $29.99. This was the first accessory that I purchased for the Incredible, as I wanted a decent holster. Up until the belt clip broke this past weekend, it sufficed.

Anyone know of one that clips onto the ac vents that works well?
Not yet... I did buy a "Bell" (same people who make helmets) one from K-Mart for ~$7 that isn't terrible, but I want something better. What I know for sure is to get one with two clips and ideally, three or four. This one has just one clip and therefore "rocks" side to side unless I connect the charger and that tension helps hold it a little. This is in my Accord, in which the vents are fairly flat up/down. In our Odyssey, the vents are sloped quite a bit and the phone therefore faces "up" just a little too much.

I'm really still favoring a vent-mounted type solely because of how hot the phone gets when using GPS or WiFi tethering. Of course, this won't help in the winter... Actually, I'd be afraid to run both at the same time as I'd surely cook the phone !!

So true people gonna end up frying their phones this summer.Ill be waiting for a good price on the Tetrax Xway.
