So I'm new here and I'm having a serious debate as to which carrier/phone to go with that best suites MY needs. From the looks of it, it seems like everyone thinks their phone is best and never seem to take into consideration that everyone is different and has different wants. This makes it extremely hard to find out which phone would give me the best experience for what I want. Now obviously my two options are the EVO or the droid x. Or possibly waiting for something else to drop.

So it here it goes...I am a basketball nut (see username). I love to watch all NBA basketball games regardless of the team or time of season. If I picked up a smartphone with the unlimited data plan, the only thing that really matters to me is being able to watch my games wherever I want. When it comes to the web, I

Honestly... both seem to be overkill for your needs. So either would work for you. Comes down to provider preference.

much apprecited...in that case, do you have any suggestion as to which phone would better suite my needs?? Maybe a cheaper one? I do like the size of the screens though, and don't get me wrong, I would proabbly find a way to use alot of the features, I just wanted to make sure my priority was stated. Thanks again.

Well, since basketball season doesn't start 'til May (at least the real season), I'd say wait and see what other cool phones pop up. Or look into the EVO with slingplayer. Or just get an iPhone 4 since the yellow spots will look like little gold Denver Nuggets.

lol

Thanks for that info. The only problem is I don't have cable. That's why I'm willing to shed extra cash on a phone bill because all I would want cable for is basketball games. That way I could also just hook it up to my tv via HDMI and watch my games on that whenever I am home. And that's why I am really hoping this phone could support the player used on nbe league pass boradband. I would be all over whichever phone could support that.
