Tapatalk and Xenforo

There is no Pro version to upgrade to. The version I'm using, reviews from Play Store mention multiple times that Pro is not even on Play Store anymore, having been replaced with the very version I'm using now.

This is the most current version there is. In app settings there is no 'uninstall updates' button because this isn't a system app. If someone has the older apk file perhaps they can share?

His Lollipop N7 shows 4.6.2. I'm starting to think we all have our own personal version of TT.:p BTW, I spun these posts out to their own thread as it seems unrelated to the AF XF upgrade.:)

I have both 4.5 and 4.6 installed. One said 'pro' when I downloaded it. It showed in 'my apps' on playstore when I got current phone couple weeks ago. Can't find it when I search playstore now though.

Looking at reviews in the Play store, a lot of people are complaining about losing the Browse option in v4.10. This version must only be available to newer Android versions as I'm on 4.1.2 and shown as up to date with TT 4.9.5. So I still have Browse but it's not working on AF, at this point I can see only threads and posts but not forums.
Also I tried going back to older versions of TT as far as 4.8.x, but Browse was still broken.

I downloaded tt earlier today, my version is 2.4.16 showing up to date.

I haven't used tt in 2 years, still finding my way around.

Where would the browse option be located, thanks?

Well I have no idea what the interface looks like in that version but once you have added and selected Android Forums, somewhere there should be a dropdown/slideout menu with a bunch of selections (Subscribed, Participated, etc) and one of those should be Browse. When you choose Browse a list of all of the individual forums or categories (depending on selection) should populate and you can navigate through them from there. If that list is blank when you select it then you have the same issue as the later version.

Okay, thanks for reply, i just checked, when i click latest i can browse all the latest posts. Also, all participated, i can look threw all of those. My favorites aren't showing up, so i got to figure out how to get my favorites to show, plus I'm not receiving emails, which i do have checked in settings.

EDIT ... So i would say yes i can browse :)

I don't have 'browse' in 4.10 at all. I have participated and search.

I'm a bit surprised anyone even uses Gingerbread these days, usually I notice that only with kids here using a Net10 phone that came new with version 2.3

The rest simply hold onto a very beat up Samsung Galaxy S or S2 or ancient Droid.

I've only seen one Note 3, and it was carried by one of the higher ups at Menard's

Well, i'm sorry, believe me i would love a new phone but money is tight right now, yea i know i can pick up a cheap phone but, i love tweakin this old phone. If i had a pc to transfer files to a bigger sd card, i would be running kit-kat on this old phone. There are still devs working on this phone over at android central, running kit-kat from the sd card allowing for all kinds of internal space, plus it is pretty stable right now. :p

Hm maybe we should all go back to Gingerbread phones. ;)
I actually do have one here but it's retired from service and is now used as a media player.
Hard to say at this point if the fix will have to come from this side or from a Tapatalk update. Hopefully the former, as the latter is far less likely to happen.

Whatever happens, whether it be an update or from xenforo, i hope it doesn't break how well its working for me.

I still have an Optimus V rooted and running Gingerbread Cyanogen Mod 7 somewhere. It came with FroYo and an extremely small storage partition that crapped out after two apps were installed. Thats why I rooted and put on my first custom ROM.

That would also be the phone that first introduced me to the infamous Angry Birds.
