hi guys,
im trying to figure out how im going to charge it.

im getting this tomorrow...

but was not thinking how im going to charge it.

is there a 30 pin 3-way out there??
as i would like to use my stock charge cord .
what can i do ??
ill post pics if you like. im making a custom full length center console and it will go into that. as i have a 7" flip out head unit in my dash.

That sound pretty cool. But charging should have been the first thing on your mind... That being said you could possibly try making it so you can change the plugs out and charge it when you need to... I don't think there is a 3-way what will work for what you want to do...

thanks for the reply.
well i needed to get the audio from the tab to the back of my h/u .

i need to see if there's a way i can put 2 30 pin connectors together and make 1 ...
so i can have 1 30pin and it will do both of what i need.

if not ill just have to pull it to charge as im making it removable .

see i have tried ...
Bluetooth-- it sounds like crap throw my h/u . as my h/u its only for call ( phone ) and does not do audio to good.

3.5 jack-- ( now that sounds good but my h/u does not have a 3.5 jack on the back, only on front and dont want a wire running off the front of it. im trying to do a nice install.

so i figure i will try this new cord with rca video and audio as i have a 7" screen on my radio so i can watch vid. from tablet to my h/u .

anyway thanks... i just need to figure out something.

wow i cant be leave this.............
in that like and it shows a pic of the end and it does not show a usb plug but this cable has it.. yes im happy.

so it has 2 audio,, 1 vidio and 1 usb for charging..
im happy...

I am in the process of putting a tab 2 7.0 in my nissan frontier. I stole the guts of a docking station. This gives me a standard samsung charging adapter, a head phone jack, and a 90 degree adapter into the tab 2 itself. The wiring of the docking station also gives me the ability to put the tab 2 in docking mode and keep the screen light while the truck is on. I hacked a usb charging cable and a small step down circuit to be feed from the ignition power of the truck, this gives the tab 2 power while the truck is running only. Audio is ran through my relocated head unit by a preamped bluetooth adapter. I figured maybe sometime someone might want to connect their phone instead of the tab 2. Now all I need is a android auto rom, create a battery monitoring / charging circuit to maintain optimal charge on the tab 2 and the truck battery, and to fashion a more accessible power switch.
