The blue notification light that reminds me of text messages, missed calls, etc has always functioned properly for me - until today. It is blinking and there are no notices showing. I have restarted and also did a complete shut down and restarted. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I do to make it stop??
Thank you in advance for your help!!

Hmm, well searching for blue LED blinking on an S6 brings up more hypotheses than I know where to start with.

Have you checked that bluetooth is off, that the voice recorder or any other active listening (Google Now or a Samsung equivalent is off), or proximity gestures (waving hand near the screen)? It could be trying to tell you that some sensor or connection is active rather than that there is a notification.

Wi-fi is off, data is off, Bluetooth is off, all active apps are closed.
Pull down drawer shows NO messages whatsoever.
I went into Settings - Notification Reminder - Select applications (I only have 6 apps checked for notifications: Phone, Messages, Weather Radar, Calendar, News app, and Facebook). I went through them 1 by 1 and turned each one off, then back on, seems as though Facebook was the problem. When I turned it off, the blue light stopped blinking. Waited awhile and turned it back on and, so far, it has stopped blinking. I did do a Facebook update this morning. Maybe there was some sort of a glitch or something there that resolved when I briefly turned the Notification Reminder for it off??
Anyway, hopefully, it's resolved.
Thank you Hadron and funkylogik for your help!!
Have a great day!!!
