    Root [1st Gen] Kindle Fire/CM9 won't power off (without coercion)

    I'm happily running CM9 v1.3 on my Fire, but there is one small problem remaining. When I do a power off, all apps shut down and I go to a very dark (but not black) screen. If I hold the power button down, after 15 seconds it finally fully powers off. Any ideas?

    TuneWiki hijacking all audio??

    Animated screen rotation

    I feel foolish as all get-out, but I have managed to put the screen on my Eris into an animated rotation mode. I.e. instead of snapping from horizontal to vertical, it rocks from side to side for a annoying period of time. I can't find the setting under 'display' Help!
