Last week I was enjoying a strong, consistent 4G signal in Needham.

This week it just shows scanning and I have never connected.

Were they just testing things out and have now taken it down? Or, is this just a Needham area problem?

If it makes you feel any better. I just started experiencing the same issue. Just scans try's to get an ip then rescans again. It was working fine last week.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was wondering if I had inadvertently changed some setting.

One thing I now noticed is that is says it's trying to connect to Sprint. I don't remember that last week when it was working.

Ditto for me as well. I used to be able a bar or 2 of 4g coverage, now I just get obtaining and IP and then it scans and finds the tower again. But I never connect. They must be doing some final testing.

Yea I went thru a big loop hole of flashing thru different radios too all for nothing. Mines started going down on around monday or tuesday also used to connect fine and now its just and endless loop. Hopefully it will get fixxed soon and after all Boston area was never officially listed as a live area for 4G so I guess they were just testing it. Hopefully it comes back up soon.

Not any better for me today - still scanning, connecting to Sprint, obtaining an Ip address and then back to scanning

Its back up and the speeds are alot better than before. Before it seem like it was pretty much cap at 5Mbs now I am hitting 7000K+ on the speed tests.

Hey Boston....it's not a launched market as you know! Stay out of the way and let the engineers tune it up for you.
