ActiveSync -> HTC Sync

I switched from WM6.1 to HTC Hero. I like the way that ActiveSync synchronises things in real time

Is there any way that HTC Sync keeps my data update all the time?

The best that can be done is at hourly intervals (Sync Manger, Settings, Automatic sync, Schedule...). This is with v2.0.4. The latest update, v2.0.8, may improve on this but I haven't yet installed it on this PC.

I already set it hourly sync. But which means it may lose the data in the last 60 mins if I don't click "sync now", or it wastes time in synchroning when there may be nothing have changed in the past 60 minutes. So I would like to have it sync everytime a change is made. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Or I wish it could be done in Android 2.0...
