Always keep wi-fi on?

Would the professionals here in this forum recommend always keeping wi-fi turned on? how do u use it?

Depends upon your situation - if you're able to use WiFi all the time, why not? But if not, then it may be advantageous to turn it off so it is not periodically searching for WiFi connections.

Even without searching for networks, wifi will drain your battery fast. I have noticed that 3g in my area is just as fast as my phone on wifi, so I hardly ever use wifi. Just in places where I have bad service.

I find that the primary location where I use the phone most is more then acceptable with Rev A 3G. Not as fast as WIFI (when connected to my router) but definitely more then acceptable. This phones battery already drains way to fast for my liking to begin with. Dont need to turn something on that will suck it dry even faster.

To further elaberate, I work out of my home the majority of the work week, so my location is mostly stationary.
