Android Launchers: do they have Airplane, Hotspot, Wifi and Screentime widgets?

I haven't used Android launchers in many years.
The fear is always that they take resource usage like RAM from the phone as opposed to using stock options.

I wanted to know... do launchers have these 3 widgets:

Airplane toggle
Hotspot toggle
Wifi on off toggle
Always on screen toggle

Not by default, you'll need to use the right launcher for that, such as Nova launcher.
It can create a widget for just about any thing.
And will take up less memory than your stock launcher too.

so on my z fold 4 using the nova launcher i can make a widget called expand quick settings. this will launcher the quick settings where you can toggle main things on or off which includes wifi, hotspot, airplane, and even the always on display.

I use Bixby routines. It's a bit pants - but it does the job. It works int he same way described for Nova.

Are you guys 100% sure it useless less resources? Awesome if it does!

yep never had any issues with battery life when on nova.

• in nova launcher open up your widget menu(usually a long press on the homescreen should bring it up)
• look for Nova action widget:
  
• select expand quick settings:

in quick setting you can select what you want to be shown here. there are other options including the always on display.

nova basically creates a shortcut more than a widget:

you press it and than options to turn things on or off is there.

I want a toggle widget on the home screen.
One tap and Airplane Mode is turned on and the widget changes to show it's on.
The same is needed for the others.

The drop down option, I've already got.
But I specifically need the widgets to be on the home screen and I nee to be instantly able to see if they are turned on or off.

These things used to be available as a download from Play.
But I think because of security reasons, got removed after Android 9 (I think).
BUT... they are still available in some phones, like Xiaomi.
I was *hoping* as such... might be available in launching apps. Looks like not.

I looked at my Xiaomi and yes it has Quick Functions widgets that turn blue when activated.
I have no need for them though, and it's no use to you.


They include : Airplane, Lock, Wifi, Data, Hotspot, Torch, (and Cleaner).

yep never had any issues with battery life when on nova.

In all my tons of years using Nova it's never shown up in battery usage, there are zero battery issues.
