Android not letting me view SD Card content?

Hello,

I use CaroO Dashcam software and have installed an SD Card and set the software to Record to SD Card.

The software does do this, as I can replay the entire day's footage from within the software just fine. However I simply want to copy that footage to my PC.

When I plug the Phone into the PC via USB and use Windows Explorer, all I see are empty folders, no files at all. They are there but being hidden from me. It's the exact same thing when using My Files in Android. I cannot see the files to copy them. Does anyone know how to get around this?
