Camera Magic and video camera?

I can't figure out how to access the video camera when this app is set as the default camera.
Please help me out - OR recommend a better free camera app.

When you open up the stock Camera app, next to the buttom to click to take a picture, there is a slide bar with a picture camera icon on one end, and a video camera icon on the other.

Slide the dot left to right to the video camera icon and it will change the picture taking button to a red dot.
Tap the red dot to start recording.

To switch back, slide the dot back to the left.
