can only conect to open wifi?

i got my htc Hero yesterday only to relays i only can connect to opan networks. when i turn off my encryption i find the net and can conect no prob! but whit encryption on i cant iven find the network. ivan when i set the network manualy it tels me its out og range? anyone got this problem? and/or a solution?

i acuali got it...
i was on a mixed b/g/n nettwork.
i for som reson needed to swith to g only.
the only thing trowing me of was the fakt i cod conect on a opan mixs signal...

i had exactly the same problem with my new Hero.

i ended up finding a "guest" option which allowed login as i was not able to switch to g only
