Root cm7 missing dialer

i istalled cm7 and its missing things like the phone dialer. can someone help me out? is there another file i should dl or what? thx

what other things are you missing? not sure on the dialer that is weird. have tried and wipe cache and dalvik cache? not sure if this tied to it or not but have you also flashed the gapps file?

I'd try gapps myself. If ocnbrze's suggestions don't work, maybe try re-flashing the rom. I never had any trouble with the CM dialer.

I would just flash it again over itself without wiping anything except cache and dalvik

im not sure what else is missing. i just remember hitting something and it said not installed or whatever. Im kinda rushing and need to slow down lol. i did wipe delvik before installing. what else do i wipe?

just wipe cache and dalvik cache and re-flash cm7. here is the gapp file if you need it: Downloading GApps...

so wipe,flash cm7, reboot, flash gapps then reboot.

ok do you have the phone icon on your homescreen? did you flash gapps as well?

Check out the Roms and Kernel guide, on there they have listed two flashable zips. On is a format all, and the other is a clear temp. I'd try flashing both of them, then re-flash CM and gapps.

are you doing this manually? or through rom manager? could be a bad download as well, re-download the cm7 file.

also you may want to try cualkin's format all: Calkulin's_FORMAT_ALL.zip flash it like you would a rom. it wipes everything for you. for me, i wipe system, cache and dalvik cache then flash caulkins then a custom rom.

i did.. i tryed to oc it to max and it froze. what speed do you have yours set?
