Help Constant freezing

Anyone having any issues with their Optimus One constantly freezing and turning itself on and off. Regardless of what I am doing, be it in an app, playing a game or even texting the phone will just freeze, restart where it goes to a black screen, the Android logo appears them back to my home screen. At first I thought it was ok but now it's happening quite a lot, sometimes up to 5 or 6 times per day.
