Converting .rm files to .mp4

Hi!

I am trying to convert some .rm files to .mp4 but conversion takes so long.
I have installed real player beta for android but it can't reproduce these .rm files.

What is fastest way to convert real media files to format playable by android htc desire device?

It depends on a lot of things. How big are the files? How long are they? What resolution? Bitrate? codec?
