Im a new android user and have downloaded the drinking water application. I have checked all the settings and they appear to be set up correctly but I'm not getting all/any notifications through. I have checked the settings and the notification option is ticked. I should in theory get reminders every 4 hrs approx.
I have also tried a couple of other similar apps and you have to put in the number of cups you need to drink a day and then the times you want the reminders from i.e. 8am til 8pm. it should then in theory send you a notification every 4 hrs. Im receiving them every hour or not at all. hmmm.. Im assuming it a problem with the apps and not a setting on the phone.
The apps I have downloaded are:
Drinking Water
Carbdroid
Water Your body
