Help droid x keyboard help

My keyboard has been acting up. I'll go to type a message or search for something and the keys will light up and act like they are working but nothing appears. As in no letters in the text box. sometimes I will have to back out of app wait and then it will work. I am using Swiftkey X.

It's a bug in Gingerbread. A lot of people, including myself, are having the same issue. I am yet to see and answer that works.

Similar issue on Droid x2... try going to manage apps>multi-touch keyboard then clear data. It fixed my issues.

Yes!! I thought it was because I dropped my phone too many times. Thanks!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Getting to the point I want to put it through a wall. Clearing data works or I change to swype.
