Help Dropped Calls on Epic 4G

Every call gets dropped and it appears I am hitting it with my cheek. I called Sprint and the CSR said his does the same thing . Any ideas how to fix that an if its in the manual and i haven't read that then I praise you for correcting me. I'm soooooooo frustrated.

I haven't experienced that with the Epic but I did experience that on my old Hero. One of the tricks (a work around if you will) that we used with that phone was to drag down the notification bar after dialing a call so that way you couldn't check-end the call.

Is the proximity sensor working? When you move the phone to your face and cover the sensor left of the earpiece does the screen turn off properly?
