Root email question

Hi there, new user here, just got my Epic a couple days ago. I hope I am posting in the right place, and I hope this has not been answered a million times... didn't see anything about it.

I am wondering if it is necessary to set up gmail in the general email app, along with my yahoo and msn mail, or can I just use the gmail app? If the gmail app is sufficient, then how can I delete the gmail tab in the general email app? Looking all over and can't find how to delete an emal account that has already been set up. Thx

Definitely the wrong section. I don't have my gmail set up in the email app, only the gmail app. I'm not sure what gmail tab you are referring to, since I don't have it. Maybe that tab is the result of the gmail account, and if you remove it, maybe it goes away.
