Facebook Application Searches

I can't seem to find a way in the FB app to perform searches. For example, if I wanted to search for Wawa, how would I go about doing that? Whenever I want to search for a company, etc to Like, I have to use the web version of FB.

this is an international forum. Normally you have to wait a day or so. I just tap the upper left button (looks like three horizontal bars) then tap the search box and type in my search entry.

Thanks for the suggestions. I posted this almost a week ago, so there's been plenty of time for it to be seen by others. I can't beleive that I'm the only one asking how to do this. I figured others who are more experienced might now. As far as searching, I know how to do that and have done that. If I hadn't searched first, I'd have no right to post the question. I'm not a newbie to message boards, believe me.
