Can someone explain the differences between freezing & uninstalling an application. I am looking to delete a few system apps such as browser, messenger & music.

Freezing & Uninstalling

If you uninstall an app it's gone, no longer on the device. Freezing disables the app without removing it; the difference isn't obvious to the user but the app is still there occupying space.
Freezing is a good way to test the effect of removing an app before actually uninstalling it; it's easy to undo if the change had unforeseen consequences.
