Help Front facing camera

Hey!

I have a HTC Indredible S, but my front facing camera has stopped working, I noticed it a couple of weeks ago. It generally makes the screen go black and shuts the app down, it sometimes also makes my phone reset. This is when going into the camera app and switching the camera to front facing, and also in the mirror app. it also doesn't work in other programs like Skype. I have tried other fixes which I found online, but none of them seem to work. I've tried clear the cache when going into manage applications and into the camera app, and i've also tried restore to default when in the actual camera app itself which doesn't work. Does anybody have any suggestions?
