froyo made browsing more laggy?

Just tried dolphin and it is blazing fast on froyo. My default browser is not as good any more wonder why. I'll stick with dolphin now

Utterly the wrong thread to post this in. But you can only move apps to the SD card if the person who made the app has enabled it, and most haven't bothered. So until they get round to it, we're stuck with ahving them in the phone memory!

It's not terrible.. but I'm pretty sure it used to scroll more smoothly on these forums. Now its a little juddery. Like I said, dolphin blazing fast... which is odd as I used to find it real slow.

Not yet. Quite happy with dolphin.

For me the browser seems about the same speed as it was before the update, although maybe a little less smooth scrolling.

What happened to the new browser that comes with Froyo that was ment to be loads faster than the old one? .. I kept reading about it online, but we dont seem to have it.

A reboot seems to have brought it back to normal speed. I'll stick.with dolphin tho.

but opera mini is blazingly fast! everything in loading pages and scrolling

Just got dolphin - swings and roundabouts compared with the stock browser - scrolling is less laggy but pages take longer to render - plus I miss the way text would reflow to fit the screen - funny how everybody was so keen on getting froyo and now its thrown up more issues

I uninstalled Dolphin, very ugly UI. Will just stick with the stock browser now and hope they come out with some fix soon!

Have also emailed HTC support but I'm guessing they will be their usual unhelpful selves and say "book it in for a repair" or "just do a factory reset"

Just shows everyone's different.the reason i use dolphinhd apart from the speed is the UI.love the swipe to the side for bookmarks

I've contacted the useless HTC support and they asked me to call a number and speak to the escalation department :?

So I;ve done that and they should be back to me in 24 hours!

Let's see what happens!
