Root Froyo - Verified Successful Root...

I didn't time mine but it took way longer than the recommended 5 minutes. What sort of tether are you using, Samsung drivers, PDAnet?

I used the PDANet drivers. I am using a quad-core PC - wonder if that makes a difference. Anyways, Im rooted now and loving it

Where is the list of top ten rooted apps? I searched for it but no joy....

I am pretty sure it is not my PC, but I can't get this root to take. Using a USB cable to connect and seems to do fine transferring files. I am kinda stumped. Tried it numerous times and never gets past the exploit process.

I found his step 3 to be helpful as well.

Still not rooted yet, but making progress.

-Finally had success-
In the end I had to copy all the files to the root folder and that seemed to make the process a lot smoother.

Any ideas on which of those files I can now delete that I have root access?
