Full Screen Caller ID Pics on Droid?

Is there a setting or an app to make incoming Pictures assigned to contacts take up the whole screen (like on the iPhone)? The picture just seems so small to me and i would like it bigger. I searched on the forums and in the Android Market and failed to find anything.

Any ideas?

i was wondering the same thing too. i want a full screened contact picture. maybe a dif dialer skin might have it? i haven't looked though.

I'd be happier if rectangular (not square) pics were allowed. What's up with that?

Well I really hope someone can design some apss that do this, I am suprised no one has come up with any yet.

It's not the simplest thing to just design a app to do it. You have to modify the entire dialer/contacts/call log/favorites. It is easier to just take the ROM from the phone and modify them then re-flash it, but until we get root access to the DROID it can't be done.

definitely would be interesting in something like this, if again, it were "that easy". Or at least something to make the image larger. Feel like the default dialer distorts the image a bit
