Okay. Yessterday was an average 1.6 vanilla G1 day, I went to bed - phone was on full battery. I wake up the next day and my battery is red (odd as I have no apps running) my phone was sluggish so I rebooted. Now my phone won't sync with my contacts, my contacts and call logs have dissappeared, I cannot read/create or send sms,mms (acore FC) I try to call a number (acore FC) receive a call (acore FC) and I have the 'problems with sync' message. Guys, I await your wisdom, because the g1 is a great phone and my upgrade is boxing day.
