Help Galaxy S and car stereo

does anyone know how to hook up your phone to your stereo through the usb cable.....? My old Iphone worked no problem, haven't been able to figure this one out. Please let me know if you have any idea thanks

I don't believe it is possible, your options are either through the headphone cable or via Bluetooth.

I use a bluetooth adaptor from Kensinton only cost 15 british pounds, it is a bit quieter then the headphone socket but I can make handsfree calls.

I also have an active brodit holder, hardwired to the cars power which charges the phone very quickly compared to cig lighter chargers and has tilt and swivel.

From my reading, the headphone socket will detect high impedance when connected to an aux socket (not headset etc) and will provide a flat unequalised output.
