Help Galaxy S5 Group Messaging Issue

When I receive a group text from the original sender, I receive their message as well as the names of everyone else in the group in the same message. When I reply, it sends it to everyone and it shows up in the group message. However, whenever someone other than the original texter replies to the group message, I receive individual texts. Does everyone in the group message have to have a phone that does group messaging? There is always at least one person with an iPhone so I know that they are able to send group messages.

Anyone else having this problem or know a solution? Thanks!

No luck but I think that it has to do with the group text capability of the people that send you the text. Otherwise I don't have a solution.

What do you mean by that? How old their phones are?

I guess? I think the older Galaxy phones do not have group chat. I also have issues receiving messages in a group chat with people that have iPhones if they have iMessage turned on. I've missed out on many a group text from that as well.

I am now having more issues with group conversations. I am not receiving messages even when I'm in a group. Even if the messages are from other android phones rather than iPhones. Help please!
