Apps Getting text from..

So I was wondering, how can you pull text from a website, or something such as twitter/rss feeds and put them into an app? I'm looking for a way that I can pull either a tweet/feed post(only the newest) into my application and show it for whoevers using it, any ideas? I really don't know anything about getting info from pages.. thanks in advance!

Darn good question....

I was wondering if there was a port of beautiful soup into the android bytecode (.pyc) for quick prototyping, or if we were going to have to crunch through arrays..

Hope I can find some info myself to post here, but if anyone knows of any links please post 'em up.

Still no luck on finding a code sample, but http://developer.android.com/reference/android/text/Html.html might be worth investigating further.
