GS2 charging cable problems

There is probably a thread somewhere on this problem, but I cant find it. My t mobile GS2 charges very slow. it wont stay turned off during charging and it will not connect to my computer, says device may have malfunctioned. I have tried different cables, I have replaced the battery, and i cant get a warranty on the phone cause it has a cracked screen. I've checked all the settings and nothing wrong with the settings. id rather not spend the 130 just yet.
