My captivate should be here on Tuesday! Got it from tigerdirect.com for $99 with contract upgrade. Looks like i could have gotten it for cheaper, but I'm not gonna worry about $50.

This is my first Android phone, switching from BB Curve, looking forward to the upgrade

Planning to wait on the root for a few weeks, just to have a base to compare against.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

So, tigerdirect (wirefly) emailed me and told me they wanted and additional $69 because this was for a secondary line. I told them to cancel the order and went into the AT&T store to pay the full $199. Except Radio Shack happened to be right next door selling it for $159. Got it, and getting acquainted.

Now just need to get a case for it...any suggestions?
