Hero bluetooth: built-in speaker does not mute

Hi

I have a bluetooth headset. As I understand the sound setup: no muting is possible with media. Is that corrects or how to do ?
I don't want the speakers in the phone on, when I use the headset for video or music.

Is it better with android 2.1 ?

When connecting via BT when you try and adjust media volume via the handset, you should bet a Bluetooth Media volume control.

I use a BT hands free kit, and my sound is directly rooted to the BT device the phone speaker is silent..

I tried once more. My headset is actually a hearing aid with a streamer, and the working distance seams to be very short. This surprised me. But it works !
