Help Hero randomly powering off

My hero just started randomnly shutting off. It started one day when the touch screen was acting up and then itd shut off after a while. the only way to get it back on was to take the battery out and put it back in and plug it in for a few minutes and itd start up but then shutdown after 10 minutes or so again. Now the battery light shows its fully charged after i take it out put it back in and plug it in and when i try to turn it on it just gives a quick vibrate and the charging light turns off and then i get nothing else... any help here?

Mine is doing exactly the same thing but differently. Mine shuts down, then starts up again, either randomly.....or usually just after I've received a text message.

Yup, same as Tattyjacket on mine. It's happened a few times in the last three or four months, but not very often. Could be a battery issue, maybe it's on it's last legs after almost two years...
