Hotspot on Rush?

I woke up this morning and went to do something in settings and noticed right below the wifi toggle in the settings menu is a mobile Hotspot toggle......

I have never had this capability before and I have had this phone for over a year.
My rush is unrooted running 4.1.2

Does it by chance look like this?

if so, I'm going to have to assume you are rooted (since that's the only way my secsettings.apk would be able to be installed in the phone)

If not, could you post a screen shot?

No I am not rooted, as I stated in my original post.

It says Hotspot instead of tether.

Not rooted sorry, it came as part of a prl update as far as I can tell because the prl is the only thing that has changed

I saw on the boost website where they added 250mb of Hotspot for 5 bucks a month.

Ok so I'm rooted. Went and did the prl update and...bam!!

I'm wondering if the new "hotspot" setting can be tweaked so we don't need wifi tether...
