How do i unroot my vibrant?

So i rooted my vibrant, i did not use the 1 click root so its not as simple to unroot it. I did not realize that once you root you wont recieve OTA updates. Since i am a complete newb to phone hacking and currently see no benefit for myself to having it rooted i want to revert back to non root. How do i do this? Step by step instructions would be GREAT!

You will receive the OTA update, but you will lose root when you do. Just being rooted shouldn't have any negative effect on your phone - if you're worried about it, just don't do anything with it right now. Use it like normal, and read up on here and the xda forums until you learn more - then you can unroot if you like, or keep root.
