How do you arrange photos into different albums? HTC One x

So I have over 1000 photos and they are.in one huge album. I am sure on my previout Desire I could open new albums for different events. So annoying when you want to find a particular pic, and have to keep scrolling back.

Use a file manager (like EStrongs File Explorer)
1) to create a folder e.g. Photo on the root of storage (not in DCIM ! ).
2) In this folder Photo create more folders for your pictures.
3) Then move your pictures from DCIM/100MEDIA to sort in your new created folders.

After a restart of your phone, you'll find your folders as new albums in your gallery

...and even better would be when you'd use QuickPic as gallery app

Thankyou so much. Just downloaded both apps, and while file explorer looks like it might take a while to suss out, have easily made new folders and transfered pictures using Quickpic.
