How good is your GPS?

List how many satellites you get "In View" and how many "In Use".

In View: 12
In Use: 0

Using Samsung Vibrant....my former G1 had 8, which is why I want an EVO if it has a better GPS.

with "GPS Fixes" but not the JH2 firmware

Stock/original firmware, with GPS "Fixes" in LbsTestMode (+ setting Accuracy to 150):

Satellites in view: 8-10
Satellites in use: 4-6
Accuracy: 16-32 feet...
Lock time: ~40 seconds first startup, 10 seconds thereafter

I've had these results over a span of a few days... I'd like my satellites to stay locked (they are constantly being dropped and re-locked), but it doesn't really affect the overall accuracy... so all in all, I am mostly satisfied with my Captivate's GPS performance.

Last night standing outside my front door the best I got "steady" was:
In view: 9
In Use: 7

For a split second about 3 times it was
In view: 10
In Use: 8

This is stock rom.. rooted. and standing outside for about 5 minutes total to get the max.

I am going to try to reflash the updated firmware (JH2) and test at the same location, and at the same time. I will see if any improvements and let you guys know.
