htc ime mod keyboard issue

Any way to add contacts to dictionary on HTC mod or default HTC keyboard for that matter. Driving me nuts.

You mean to add them as a a new word.....?
Ok, just type their name anywhere and tap on the white suggestion box with the name you typed in it that comes up above with all the word suggestions.

It should then say 'Added to dictionary'.

If this does not work then try going into the keyboard settings and adding the new word from there.

Thanks for the response. Actually what I meant was, is there a way to allow keyboard to automatically use all contacts in dictionary. Like many otherkeywords do. I have over 200 contacts and hate wheneverI type a name it autocorrects to some other word.

EDIT: Ok, few new ideas.... Apparently some versions of Swype do this 'auto add' thing automatically. (I would highly recommend Swype BTW)

Also, if you don't like Swyping (although you should!) it is perhaps possible to this with the IME mod. You could install Swype and somehow extract the dictionary. Then import it with HTC IME. Hmm......

I don't know if that would ever work, but it's just an idea...

I can't find any apps to to this though...
